Sarah-Jane Hooper - BSc (HONS)
Podiatrist
Sarah-Jane qualified from the University of Brighton in 1998. She has since worked both within the NHS in Cambridgeshire and for a London private practice that specialises in sports injuries and biomechanics. She has gained a broad range of experience and specialist knowledge in most aspects of podiatry including diabetes, rheumatology and arthritis, child foot health and gait abnormalities. She is also a firm believer in further training and indeed is the course organiser of the London Postgraduate Study Group. Of course she is well qualified for all the regular day to day foot care problems too.
Gary Hinton - Bsc (HONS) MChs
Podiatrist
Gary graduated from the University of Brighton with a BSc Honours degree in Podiatry. He has a general podiatric interest and enjoys a varied caseload ranging from routine nail care to biomechanical assessment.
Prior to studying Podiatry, Gary achieved a BSc Honours degree in Sport Science and has previously worked as a personal trainer. This allowed him to offer a more holistic approach of assessment for his clients, and build up rapports quickly.
Gary enjoys regularly playing football and has played at various levels including semi-professional. As a result he has been able to apply his podiatric knowledge to a sport setting as he is aware of the impact sport can have on the lower limbs. Gary is constantly developing his knowledge base and attends regular training courses to achieve this.
Zoe Hyde -BSc (HONS)
Podiatrist
Zoe qualified from The University of Huddersfield in 1998. She worked for the NHS in kent for 11 years.
Zoe had various different roles whilst working for the NHS where she specalised in biomechanics, however, she gained a wide range of knowledge and skills including diabetic foot care and ulceration, nail surgery, patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis, children with foot health problems and of course patients biomechanical problems.
Zoe likes to keep up to date with her knowledge and skills by attending training courses. She is also enjoying the new challange of working for March Podiatry Practice.
Philip Young
Sports and Remedial Massage Practitioner
Philip trained as a practitioner, to the highest level at the London School of Sports Massage.
Philip provides a professional and ethical service to patients for a wide range of problems. Although Sports and Remedial massage can be used with great benefit in isolation, many patients have this therapy in conjunction with and to complement their other treatments.
In addition to his L.S.S.M. diploma, Philip has attended a number of workshops and courses as part of his ongoing professional development to learn new techniques to enhance his treatments. These include basic biomechanics, advanced specialist massage techniques to include Myo-fasial release techniques, plus postural analysis and evaluation of peripheral joints. Philip, like all staff at the practice has a valid first aid and basic life support certificate.
Philip is a keen runner, participating in athletics for many years and also holds a UK athletics level 3 qualification as a running coach.
Mandy Waddon
Receptionist
Mandy joined us in September 2006 working along side our other receptionists to provide all aspects of administrative patient care. Mandy has twenty years experience of working in general practice, nine of which were spent as practice manager, but she missed the contact with dealing with patients both face to face and on the telephone.
She holds the AMSPAR Certificate (The Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionist) in Practice Administration and the AMSPAR Diploma in Practice Management.
Nicola Clark
Receptionist/Reflexologist
Nicola joined us in May 2007 to assist in all aspects of reception and administration duties. Nicola previously worked in the customer support department for a large fitness equipment manufacturer for 7 years and has gained qualifications and experience in providing a high standard in customer care.
Since leaving college with a GNVQ in Leisure and Tourism she has always worked in customer focused jobs both face to face and via the telephone. She also has certificates in RSA I, II and III.
Nicola holds a qualification (VTCT Level 3) in Reflexology. She attended Cambridge Regional College and qualified in 2005. Nicola is a Member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists.

Leigh Austin
Receptionist
Leigh joined our reception team in May 2009. Leigh has previously had a 30 year career in publishing with Emap, after leaving full time education at the Hereward Comprehensive School in March with 9 CSE's, and 2 'O' levels and the Isle of Ely college, Wisbech having passed Buisness Studies qualifications of shorthand, typing etc. With Emap working through from office junior to advertisement production contoller responsible for weekly and monthly magazines in numerous markets.
Leigh works part time as receptionist handling admin enquires, appointments etc.
